My original soundtrack to the short indie film 'Soul Mother', directed by Yorkshire based filmmaker Catherine Stepien.

'Soul Mother' was released in 2018 and did really well on the festival circuit. I had in mind to release the soundtrack earlier, but never found the perfect time for it, so I thought it'd be an amazing way to launch my Bandcamp subscription.

The soundtrack explores a lot of drone noises including me making a strange choir from my voice and also sampling a hurdy-gurdy. The trailer music is a sort of medieval cover version of 'Amazing Grace' that I quickly put together and the two vocal idea tracks are short demos to see how I could make a giant choir from singing individual notes into my tape machine.
